Waiting for a spouse is one of the most tested forms of faith. It is hard to believe God sees you and cares when year after year goes by and you remain single. But God's delays are not God's denials. His timing is purposeful, even when it is painful.
Use this season. Become the person the person you're looking for is looking for.
A Prayer for a Godly Spouse
🙏 Prayer
Lord, You know the desire of my heart for a marriage partner. I bring that desire to You honestly — I don't want to pretend it isn't there. I trust You with it. I ask You to bring the right person at the right time. Guard me from settling out of loneliness and from rushing what You want to develop. And in this season of waiting, do deep work in me — make me the person my future spouse needs. Amen.

Lord, I do not want to waste this season resenting it. Teach me genuine contentment — not resignation, but real peace. Show me the gifts of this season and help me to use them. And when the time is right, let the right person come. I trust You. Amen.
