Prayer for Unsaved Family and Friends

Persistent prayers for the salvation of family members and friends who do not yet know Jesus — based on Acts 16:31 and G

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise... He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."2 Peter 3:9

God Wants Them Saved More Than You Do

Whatever love you feel for the unsaved person in your life — God's love for them is infinitely greater. He is not reluctant to save them. He is actively pursuing them. Your prayer is not informing God of something He has missed — it is aligning yourself with what He is already doing.

Pray with confidence, not desperation. You are not trying to convince a reluctant God. You are joining the greatest pursuit in history.

A Prayer for an Unsaved Loved One

🙏 Prayer

Lord, I bring [name] before You. You know them completely — every wall they have built against faith, every wound that makes belief feel unsafe, every question they have never voiced. I ask You to reach past every barrier and make Yourself real to them. Open their eyes to see what I have seen. Let them encounter the love of Jesus in a way they cannot explain away. I trust You with them. Amen.

Persistent Prayer — Don't Stop

Some people come to faith quickly. Others take decades of prayer. Do not measure your faith by the speed of the answer. Keep praying. Keep loving. Keep being living proof that God changes people.

"And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly."Luke 18:7–8
